Elevator
Here are the meanings for several elevator dreams:
-Descending or falling elevators in dreams are usually negative, suggesting
anxiety about losing social status or repressed emotions.
-A rising elevator also represents anxiety, but signifies that the trouble is
almost over.
-A dream of being stuck in an elevator symbolizes that your emotions have
gotten out of control. The same is true if you dream about an elevator that is
out of order.
-To dream of being in an elevator crash is a common dream, which symbolizes
some basic fear in the dreamer’s life, such as fear of a moral lapse, social
inadequacy, loss of status, etc. The prophetic meaning of this dream depends on
what happened. If you dreamed of being killed in the crash, you will experience
some major and lastings setbacks in your life. However, if you escaped safely
or landed without being hurt, your troubles will be upsetting but only
temporary.
i had a rather elaborate dream …where i was…ok, so a bunch of people were
captured and held hostage in an elevator….of which the evil man in charge
somehow expanded this elevator holding cell and made a game show out of
it. “game show.” basically, the evil elevator man picked
a person at random…asked him/her questions until they got the answer
wrong…..and then shoved them down an empty elevator shaft. i can’t
really remember if i was shoved down. i do however, remember watching my
bookbag go down the elevator shaft (leading me to believe i went down too but
somehow came back..because…ya know, its a dream and all). but
yeah…sooo…i snuck out of the elevator…and shortly afterwards the power
went out. but…power outages in my dream world meant the elevator
automically opened its doors and people were running out. i didn’t want
to take the normal stairs…cause i figured they’d be too crowded, so i went
down the staff entrance and found my own way out. there are more
details. far more random. inquire within if interested. but
for the time being…..i think this is all that i care to share.
I just saw this, but you have to fill me in best you can about the rest.on the upside, having escaped you made the one possibly positive choice (if it really is a choice) and/or succeeded in having the only possible positive fate you could have, having already begun to have a dream involving an elevator
